Fewer words
Treasure! I found this when I was clearing out a drawer last night. It's strange, but I was thinking about this the other day - I wondered if I'd given it to my parents for safe keeping while we were in the tiny house, but I've found it now, so I don't have to admit to them that I didn't know where it was for about 2 years! It originally belonged to my paternal grandmother who died when I was 4. I'd always been fascinated by it as a child and I still really love pocket watches. My Dad decided to take it to a watchmaker to get it fixed and gave it to me as a wedding present.
This is the first Apple Mac! Aren't you glad you're not using this? Apparently it was the second computer to use the WIMP interface (Windows, Icons, Menus, Pointer), the keyboard is about 30cm wide so it's a very tiny thing.
The first laptop! It's bigger and heavier (26lbs) than my sewing machine! If you're wondering about the 1980s computer equipment we went to a tour around the Science Museum stores on Tuesday - very interesting and made a change from front kicks!
