I remember original VE day, we all had bonfires to celebrate. I was very small and had just moved from the city into the sticks where everything was strange. Never seen fireworks before. A cracker went off just besides me and I screamed for an hour. Biiiiig learning curve.
Once and only once I recieved a mystery card. I was 13 I took it to school showed all my friends and reveled in all thier "envy" It was years before I realised my mum had sent it!!!
What a lovely surprise! Thanks so much1 I'll really enjoy deciding who to send these to. Hmmm Should I send one secretly to my 16 year old daughter???
We could have a family tradition starting here.....
Thankyou for the lovely surprise. Although I am past sending valentines cards normally, hubby might just find himself the proud owner of one this year. lol. I too have a lovely Granddaughter who would prob. love one to send to someone. I am really going to enjoy them.
